Natural resource and environmental policy development for public and private sector interests. In recent years the primary focus of activity has been on the use of alternative fuels in the nations' transportation fleet focusing on natural gas and liquefied natural gas products as a method to improve air quality and reduce the emission of particulate matter. Mr. Lear has also organized and implemented projects across a broad range of natural resource and energy issues including coal leases and electrical generation on native lands (Navajo); Off shore Alaska drilling negotiations in the Bering and Beaufort Seas between National Environmental groups and 6 major oil companies; North Slope Native American environmental and energy issues (Gwitchen); The development of an integrated energy plan for Yellowstone National Park. |
