Janet advises renewable energy clients by providing cost-effective guidance and assesing the legal implications of siting and development projects for utility-scale solar and wind. Janet enjoys getting to know her clients and their business models to provide effective solutions and advice.

Janet has extensive experience in transactional matters including complex title examinations,  reviewing and managing title defects, negotiating title policies, and drafting third party agreements including surface use waivers, crossing agreements, licenses and rights of way. She also conducts general due diligence related to project development and financing of utility scale solar and wind projects. Janet also has experience assisting in project financing related to construction debt and tax equity investment.

Janet also has experience conducting mineral title examinations throughout the United States for traditional energy clients. She also has vast commercial real estate law  experience including advising and assisting clients on the purchases, leasing and financing of medical facilities, office buildings, shopping centers and gas station developments.
