David Hubbell

Managing Partner - 801-538-5030

Dave began his practice in 2006 as a law clerk at Pruitt Gushee, a boutique energy firm that specialized in upstream oil and gas and mining.  He has many years of experience with federal, state, Indian and fee title examination.

Dave began his career examining title in older federal leases within exploratory units in the Rocky Mountain region.  Maintaining a focus on mineral title, in the last decade, he has prepared numerous acquisition and drilling and division opinions in the Permian, Uinta and Williston Basins.  This work has included managing teams to meet deadlines on sizeable acquisitions to leading multiple title projects covering medium sized townsites up to several square miles of urbanized areas.

Dave strives to provide concise title opinions with straightforward requirements and options for title curative and to always be available to respond to any questions or issues that a client’s land staff may have with thorough answers on the same day or the following morning.
